PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The Marine Towing Winch is a heavy-duty deck machinery solution purpose-built for towing, escorting, and anchor handling operations aboard tugs, anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels, offshore support vessels, and salvage ships. Engineered for continuous high-load operation in demanding marine environments, towing winches deliver exceptional pulling force, robust brake holding capacity, and precise line control during critical towing maneuvers. Available in electric, hydraulic, and diesel drive configurations with single, double, waterfall, or split drum arrangements, the winch is fully customizable to specific vessel requirements. Rated line pull ranges from 10 to over 500 metric tons at the 1st layer, with brake holding capacity up to 670 metric tons. Key components include the electric motor or hydraulic power unit, induction-hardened gearbox, fail-safe braking system, rapid friction clutch release (under 3 seconds), and optional mechanical spooling device for wire rope. All systems comply with IACS rules and are certified by major classification societies including CCS, ABS, BV, and DNV. Advanced bridge control systems with local and remote operation, real-time line tension monitoring, and integration with vessel thruster controls ensure safe and efficient deck operations.
