A container terminal operator at the Port of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, deployed 20 Yuntian diesel-electric Straddle Carriers with 50-tonne lifting capacity and 1-over-3 container stacking capability. The self-contained carriers required no fixed rail infrastructure and entered service within days of delivery.The eight-wheel hydrostatic drive provided the tight turning radius needed for the terminal‘s congested layout.

A commercial shipyard in Vung Tau, Vietnam, replaced an aging fixed rail-mounted system with a Yuntian 100-tonne Boat Lift Hoist Crane to haul vessels up to 100 tonnes across multiple slipways.
